The boys will be home in a few hours, hopefully the washing machine repairman will come and fix the washer before they get here. I don't relish the idea of stinky boy/man clothes sitting around until next week.
Lucy, Ben and Emma had swimming lessons this week and they all did very well. By the end of the week Lucy was no longer negotiating with Coach J. about where, how long and when she would put her face in the water. Ben went from being a non-swimmer to being able to swim(crawl) the length of the (small) pool. Emma was already an OK swimmer, but now she knows a few strokes and doesn't rely on swimming underwater so much.
I've been insanely busy this past month helping arrange a homeschool conference and getting us ready for next school year (and wrapping up last year). Ian is enrolled in a virtual academy and Katie will be taking some dual credit classes. Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork. It's absurd. Oh and I have a newborn!
I can't really complain about Max, he is really a very easy baby. He gets dragged hither and yon and just rolls with it. He is about 11.5 pounds and it shows, the boy has some serious chub!
I wish this picture wasn't blurry.
Max and my OB, the best OB in San Antonio!!
